In September of 2006, GARDENING GRACES worked with HABITAT FOR HUMANITY and landscaped a home under construction in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Thanks to the enthusiastic work of volunteers, the homeowner and her family, we were able to provide landscaping to both the front and back yards.

GARDENING GRACES accomplished this task with the gracious generosity of Christensens Plant Center and Plymouth Nursery, both located in Plymouth, Michigan. A special thanks to my foreman, Greg Michalak, for the many hours he put in that day as a volunteer and to all the guys at both Christensens and Plymouth Nursery who helped me as I selected plants and materials.
