QUICK LINKS

Hi again! In case you are wondering if winter will ever go back to where it came from, I am here to tell you, it will. I know this is what some Michigan people (none of you of course) are wondering because my ears hurt from all the whining.
Well never let it be said that I don't care about your pain. So to make the time pass a little more quickly as you eagerly await the arrival of spring, I have a few funnies, a reward and some interesting feedback for all you Gardening Graces ezine readers.
JUNK IS SOMETHING YOU'VE KEPT FOR YEARS AND THROW AWAY THREE WEEKS BEFORE YOU NEED IT!

When I first read that I laughed out loud because it is so true about me. You know how you can sometimes be so cautious, so pitifully timid about throwing something away? And that "something" is stuff that you could actually classify as "semi-useless". Then one day you rise up! You've somehow had enough of this sickening, wimpy image of yourself and you long to show the world the real you; the trend setting leader, decision maker and one heck of a bold person who is so courageous they can actually throw semi-useless stuff away. So you do!

I could be rich if you each sent me money for every time I've had to deal with that bold, trend setting, decision maker. Yes, the one who now has that sickening, sinking feeling when she realizes that the junk she so boldly tossed has morphed into a precious,  desperately desired and most needed commodity. The one now spending hours digging through the trash or lamenting the loss is the one to send the money to. I'll send you her address.

What does this all have to do with gardening you ask? Nothing! Remember I said at the beginning I am here to cheer you up; to lighten your load and maybe make you smile and enjoy these last days of winter.

Oh, and here's a cool thing. In the cyber world when you do decide something is trash and then change your mind, you just have to retrieve it from the trash folder. And it isn't all wet, stinky, shredded or covered in who knows what. Fresh as when you clicked it to trash and ready to be precious again.

 Customer Service
The ezine sent out on February 20, 2008 focused on customer service. If you have not responded yet, please re-open that email and let me hear from you. Your input is most welcome and appreciated. Thank you to those of who who took the time to tell me what you think. There is a page on the website just for your input that you can access any time.

Communication, listening carefully to what a client has to say and being able to solve the problem accompanied by a personal touch, reliable service and good work. That's how I would summarize what I have heard so far.

See you soon. Spring and summer will be here and we can get busy again.  It's a good thing since most of us could use a little more activity.  After all, you know it's not the jeans that make your butt look fat.
Hope you appreciated my light heartedness.  Please don't tell me to quit by day job.  I'm not.

Gardeningly yours,

Barb
